As of Fall 2010, we are pleased to offer our members a special “Family Course” on the North Course as part of the U.S. Kids Family Tees program. This is a great way for the whole family -- from juniors to beginners -- to play golf together at everyone’s individual level. This is also an excellent opportunity for the beginner golfer in your family to be introduced to the course without experiencing a great deal of frustration.
Here is a quick overview of how the program works:
(1) There are two sets of tee markers, blue (shortest course) and gold (a little longer). Golfers can then work their way back to the green tees.
The tee markers are set up a couple of paces off of the edge of the fairways.
(2) The tee markers are positioned on the left side of the fairway on the odd numbered holes, on the right side of the fairway on the even numbered holes and in the center of the fairway on the par 3’s.
(3) We will have custom scorecards for the Family Tees in the Golf Shop. Please ask for one in the ProShop.
